Kenna is a freshman this year. She enjoys painting, creative writing, and is considering journalism as her future career. In addition, she would like to open her own local news station in the future.
Chelsea is a freshman at MASH. In her free time, she enjoys creative writing and reading thriller novels. She is also an avid cat and pastry lover.
Evelyn Hambright is a current sophomore at MASH, and this is her second year writing for The Torch. In addition to writing for The Torch, she is a member of the school yearbook staff and is an elected, grade-level representative on Student Council. Her favorite school subject is English. Outside of school, Evelyn likes photography, going to concerts, spending time with her friends and family, and traveling.
Kelsea Harshbarger is currently a senior at MASH, and this is her second year writing for The Torch. In addition to working on the school newspaper, Kelsea is a part of student council, the National Honor Society, and the varsity volleyball and softball teams at school. In her free time, Kelsea enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, including her younger sister, Paige, who is a sophomore at MASH.
Eliana Inch is a Freshman at Mechanicsburg High School. She plays volleyball and basketball, and is a part of the school debate team. She really enjoys painting and baking in her spare time. In addition, her passion is traveling, and she has been to 49 states and 2 countries. She says, "I believe that experiences in new unfamiliar places are some of the most valuable things." She is looking forward to writing for The Torch this year!
Bekka Kreitman is currently a sophomore at MASH. In her free time, she participates in Project LIT at MASH, and is also currently in the process of earning her Girl Scout Gold Award. She also loves to read and write, and is excited to be a part of The Torch this year. In the future, she hopes to become an elementary school teacher so she can help the next generation of writers prosper.
Chumnuo Matanguihan is a junior. He's on the cross country team and plans on joining the track and field team this spring
Madylynn Onativia is a sophomore at MASH and attends Cumberland-Perry Area Vocational Technical School for Healthcare Pathways. She is a member of the Speech and Debate Team, the Musical, and the Student Council. She enjoys hanging out with friends, family, and animals. Mady also enjoys journaling, baking, and going on walks. Mady hopes to be a Nurse Practitioner in the future.
Charley is a freshman this year at MASH. He likes to write, read, watch movies, and spend time with friends and family.
