This unit explores the self through reading and writing about others' Coming of Age experiences. Students will examine personal narratives and informative texts highlighting self-discovery and empowerment while developing critical thinking and analytical skills.

This unit explores how perseverance and determination contribute to overcoming obstacles and achieving personal and professional goals. Students will examine literary elements and narrative writing techniques to write an original narrative demonstrating a theme of perseverance.

Unit 4: Power of Literature
