I am the Library Media Specialist for Boynton Middle School and Highbridge Hill Elementary School. Often called school librarian, but more specifically I am a library teacher specializing in information seeking skills, collaborating with classroom teachers, fostering a love of reading among students, implementing curricula, promoting responsible copyright and creative licenses use, and preserving freedom of information and technology.
In the Fall of 2014, I joined the Mascenic district. My prior experience in library science is diverse! Previously, I worked at Crotched Mountain School. I also have experience working at university libraries and public libraries. I earned a BA in English from Rivier College and a Masters in Education with a Library Media Specialist and Education Technology Integrator certifications from Plymouth State University.
When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three daughters and extended family. I also enjoy helping out at my family's dairy farm in New Ipswich.
Please head over to the Boynton Library and Highbridge Hill Library websites for more information regarding the library programs.
