Library Media Specialist

Welcome!

I am the Library Media Specialist, and my favorite part of the job is helping children discover books they love and teaching them how to be curious, confident information seekers. Through fun reading programs like Read Across America, along with hands-on library lessons, the library becomes a place where stories, learning, and imagination come together.

I also guide students as they learn how to research, ask questions and use information and technology responsibly.  I've been a part of the Mascenic School District since 2014 and have experience in school, university and public libraries.

When I'm not in the library, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three daughters and being with extended family.
