New Volunteer Gardener Training Program

What you can expect from the New Volunteer Gardener Training program:
7 online sessions (~1-1.5hrs per week on Wednesdays at 7pm) to learn the basics about starting, maintaining, and harvesting a vegetable garden. Classes begin April 7th.
4 in person hands-on training sessions (Saturdays at 11am) led by master gardeners at the Marymount University Plot Against Hunger Garden.
10 hours of volunteer time in Plot Against Hunger Gardens in Arlington.
A Certificate of Community Engagement when you have completed all requirements for the course.
The $45 registration fee may be waived (see instructions during payment) if this cost would prohibit you from taking the course.
To register for this course, please print out and sign both this Waiver form , as well as this Virginia Cooperative Extension Volunteer form. Note: If under 18 years of age both forms must be signed by a parent or guardian as well.
You will need both of these forms signed and ready to upload to complete the registration.
