Laura Fitzgerald, EdD, is a higher education executive, leadership coach, and scholar-practitioner with more than 10 years of experience advancing student success, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. Throughout her career, she has led initiatives that strengthen student engagement, foster belonging, and create meaningful opportunities for students to grow as leaders.

Most recently, Laura served as Director of Student Engagement and Leadership at St. John Fisher University, where she revitalized student engagement by expanding active student organizations, establishing the University's first Leadership Lab, advising the Student Government Association, and leading institution-wide initiatives including Orientation and Commencement. Her work focused on building sustainable systems that enhanced the student experience and supported institutional priorities.

Laura earned her Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Marymount University. Her doctoral research, Empowering Undergraduate Student Government Leaders, explored how coaching and the GROW Model can strengthen leadership development, reflective practice, and decision-making among undergraduate student leaders. The research continues to shape her approach to leadership, coaching, and organizational development.

As an executive coach and facilitator, Laura has supported students, emerging leaders, and professionals in developing self-awareness, strengthening strategic thinking, and achieving meaningful personal and professional growth.
