The "Learning in Colleges and Universities" section allows students to physically experience the facilities of the College. DIY Online Jewelry Design
In order to broaden the eyes of students, the school has always encouraged students to understand the information of various industries and establish future directions. On February 1 this year, high school students were fortunate to participate in the "Other Learning Experiences" course offered by the School of Continuing Education of the Hong Kong Baptist University - "Creative Computer Jewelry Design DIY". Students not only have a preliminary understanding of the development of the jewelry industry, but also have the opportunity to learn jewelry computer drawings and personally design personal accessories. Although the weather was very cold that day, the minimum temperature in the morning was only 7 degrees, and the work of drawing on jewellery was not easy. However, many students actively engaged in learning and completed the design. Later, they visited the event in the afternoon, guided tours in the mall, and short qualifications. Participants, group reports and other parts also participated seriously. The activities are enriched and they can broaden their horizons for future career development.
Mindfulness Activity
In the "Mindfulness" activities co-organized with the Youth Association, the students in the fifth grade chose four classes to learn Muay Thai. Muay Thai belongs to the aerobic exercise. The students achieved physical fitness through Muay Thai training, and also learned some self-defense anti-wolf moves. In addition to learning Muay Thai, students also learn from the social workers under the leadership of the social work, learning emotional expression, emotional control, etc., to achieve physical and mental health.
何天心 was admitted to Taiwan Dayeh University
Before the school held the Taiwan Study Exchange Delegation, I didn't know anything about Taiwan's progression to school. I never thought about going to Taiwan to go to university. Later, I attended the Taiwan exchange group held by the school. I knew that Taiwan University also had its own favorite subjects. I began to be interested in the "Taiwan Progression". I have heard people say that the art development space in Taiwan is bigger than Hong Kong. I have a greater interest; but at that time, I had to be a bit crazy about going to Taiwan to study, and I didn’t know what to do, how to register, how the procedure was, etc., and I was very confused. When the teacher learned that I hope to go to Taiwan to study, I found a lot of relevant information for me to give me a better understanding of Taiwan's considerations for further studies. Then, I started to sign up in November and December last year. The biggest difficulty in the process is that I have to deal with my studies in a limited time, and I have to prepare sufficient information and self-recommendation letters. I suggest that students who intend to go to Taiwan to study in the future should understand the registration requirements of different universities as soon as possible and prepare the required documents. Finally, I was fortunate that I was taken by the Department of Art and Design of the University of Daye. Here, I would like to sincerely thank the teacher who helped me, the principal who wrote the recommendation letter for me, and especially the school for the cultivation of me. The diploma test is finally over. I am now looking forward to a new page in life in Taiwan!
Herbal Anti-Mosquito Bag DIY workshop
Secondary 4 students participate in the "Environmental Protection Workshop - Herbal Anti-mosquito Pack". At the beginning of the workshop, the instructor will explain to students the issues of global pollution and how to use biological resources sustainably to deepen students' awareness of environmental protection. By making herbal mosquito packs, students will be able to increase their knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine resources. Students are very engaged in activities. When making anti-mosquito bags, students will also refer to the "Hong Kong Chinese Herbal Medicine" for more information on more herbal medicines. After completing the anti-mosquito package, students and guests visited the school garden to learn about the plants on campus.
Taiwan further studies seminar
In November of this school year, the group invited Mr. Wang Dacai, a member of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office Haihua Service Fund to Taiwan to study, to attend a high school class to introduce information about the University of Taiwan. Through this seminar, students will learn about the fees and precautions for Hong Kong students to go to Taiwan to go to public and private universities. Students know that there are 160 universities in Taiwan, including national comprehensive universities, national science and technology universities, private comprehensive universities, and private science and technology universities. They understand the three major ways of studying in Taiwan: 1. Individual distribution by the Ministry of Education (November-December), and the Ministry of Education. Distribution (2-3 months), 3, independent enrollment (all year). Each student can only choose one way to apply for admission to a university. Students can no longer apply through other channels. In addition, the International Director of theUniversity of Science and Technology also introduced the facilities and subjects of the school, and the students listened carefully. Finally, the teacher encourages students to make a balanced choice in terms of learning ability, graduation path, career prospects, and personal subject achievement.
High school day camp
High school students are getting closer to the days of socializing, but they may not fully understand their strengths and weaknesses, and still feel the way forward for their own life. At the same time, the pace of social life in Hong Kong is so fast that it is inevitable that there will be noisy and noisy, and it is impossible to think quietly, let alone consider the future of the individual. Therefore, the six high school teachers of the school carefully planned a related day camp activity. On May 2nd, they went to the St. Paul’s Church in St. Paul’s Church in Sheung Shui. Through activities such as calming, quiet, slow food, sharing, etc., we will change their life styles, and re-examine and experience their life experiences in the beautiful environment, and even personally. On the same day, all the high school students were engaged, taking the time away from the dust, washing the busy mind, and then welcoming the future.
