**This can be taped inside of a file folder and then stood up in front while your child is writing.
**Sight word stomp -write your words on index cards, spread out on the floor and then have someone at home call off a word. See how fast you can stomp on the word (maybe play against a sibling to see who is faster).
**Nerf gun shoot out - write your words on sticky notes, place them on the wall, then have someone at home call off a word and you find and shoot it. To make this a little harder, you shoot any word and say it. You only get to take it off the wall if you read them correctly.
**Write your words in sidewalk chalk outside- then you can play a few games:
Try to "write the word / trace it" by using a squirt gun.
throw a frisbee and read whichever word your frisbee lands on.
**Play sight word tic, tac, toe with someone at home - start out by making a tic, tac, toe board, then write a word in each box. To play, you have to read the word correctly to mark it off. You can use fruit loops (pick 2 colors) or pennies and dimes to mark the words off so you can replay on the same board a few times.
