Classroom Expectations

• Be Involved – You will participate each day – no exceptions!
  • Attendance is mandatory for this course! You cannot miss more than 10 days in this course. If this occurs, you will fail the course regardless of the grade that is earned.
  • All assignments that are not turned in at the time the assignment is due will be counted as late. All late work will have a 10-point deduction per day late.
  • NO CELLPHONES ALLOWED, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED! If seen, they will be confiscated.
• Be on Time – You will be seated and ready to go when the bell rings.
  • If a student is frequently tardy the issue will be addressed with an administrator.
• Be Prepared – Arrive to class with all assignments completed and ready to turn in.
  • Students who are absent should always check the Make Up work folder at the back of the room upon returning to school. It is the student’s responsibility to make all work up within 3 school days.
• Be Respectful – You will respect the ideas of other students even if you disagree.
• Be Responsible – You will take responsibility for your actions, words, and classroom cleanliness.
  • Students can expect the MCS student dress code to be enforced. Please be mindful there are no coats, jackets, or hoodies allowed in any room in the building.
  • Test remediation will be offered and a re-test will follow within the next few days.

Discipline Policy:

2. Conference with teacher/ parent phone call

3. Lunch Detention

4. Refer to administration
