CLINICS AND TRYOUTS LOCATED IN THE MARSHALLTOWN HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDHOUSE AUXILLARY GYM
All participant's will be judged on one cheer(chant), one dance, and two jumps.
You will be judged on communication skills, motion technique, knowledge of material, energy, enthusiasm and overall presence.
TRYOUT SEQUENCE:
Walk out and get into ready position.
Introductions (individually)
[Rotate through all members of the group]
Individual Kicks: 1 Kick / Clean position / Double Kick (any leg is fine)
[Rotate through all members of the group]
Individual Jumps: 1 jump of choice / Clean position / 1 jump of choice
[Rotate through all members of the group]
Group Cheer (Wrestling Cheer, Basketball Cheer, or Both) : Repeat 3 times or the number of people in your group / Spirit ending
Fight Song- Run through 1 time / Spirit ending.
Thank your judges / Exit
DOES: Smile and make eye contact. You can ask to do something over if you make a mistake. RELAX and do your best!
DON'T: Give up.. if you make a mistake.. KEEP GOING!!!
