Hey, y'all! My name is Allison Adamson and I love my job! I have worked as an SLP in the public education setting for 21 years with 20 of those years in the Marshall County School District. I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees in Communication Disorders at the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!). I work with the best teachers and related service providers in Marshall County! I have two children of my own, Nadia and Knox, but I consider my students to be "my kids," too. When I am not taxiing my children from one activity to another, I enjoy watching Broadway musicals, traveling to new places, taking naps, and laughing with my friends.
My name is Tina Gray. I graduated from Murray State University in 1997 with my Master’s degree and I have been a speech language pathologist for 25 years. 18 of those years have been spent working with individuals with Autism in schools, outpatient therapy, as well as home health settings. I joined Marshall County Schools in January 2009 as a speech language pathologist and the Autism Consultant and have served in those capacities over the last 13 years. I enjoy time with my family, reading, traveling and spending a lot of time at baseball fields! I have a daughter who attends the University of Kentucky and a son who attends Marshall County High School.
My name is Ms. Alisia and I have been an occupational therapist in the school setting for 20 years. I have greatly enjoyed all of the students, teachers, staff, and parents I have been fortunate enough to work with over the years. I live on a small hobby farm with my husband and three children. We enjoy our multitude of animals, including a miniature cow, a goat, a pigeon, several chickens, dogs, cats, and even a turtle! We enjoy traveling to secluded beaches when possible.
I graduated from Murray State university with a dual teaching certification in Elementary and Special Education. I then earned an additional teaching certification in Visual Impairments from the University of Kentucky. I am so excited to be providing vision services for Marshall County. My family keeps me very busy with ball games and track meets but we do enjoy traveling when time allows.
I knew when I was in eighth grade that I wanted to be a special education teacher. I graduated from Hopkinsville High School and attended college at Murray State University where I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Next, I completed a Masters in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education followed by becoming a National Board Certified Teacher, Exceptional Needs Specialist. I am blessed to work with the wonderful students and teachers of Marshall County and have thoroughly enjoyed my work in special education for over 20 years. My husband, Stephen, and I have two wonderful sons who keep us on the go with sports, activities, and travel.
My name is Janine Owens and I am excited to be the new Physical Therapist here for Marshall County Schools! I have been a physical therapist since 2009. I live in Benton with my husband and 4 children who keep us busy with their sports and extracurricular activities! In our spare time, we love to travel and spend time on our boat on KY lake! Hi! My name is Kayla Etheridge and I am the Deaf/Hard of Hearing teacher for Marshall County School District. In 2011, I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in DHH Education from MacMurray College. I have been teaching for eleven years and truly enjoy getting to know each student and their family. Two years ago, my husband, my son and I decided to put down roots in Marshall County. Our little boy, Benson, keeps us on our toes. In our spare time, we enjoy being outside playing with Benson. We love everything football and are lucky enough to cheer on our Marshals each week! We are blessed to call Marshall County home.
