Design, Engineering & Entrepreneurship

Design/Engineering/Entrepreneurship course generates an environment for students to take their ventures from concept to fruition. Utilizing the skills and knowledge from Fundamentals, students will continue to use the Engineering Design Process to create a product prototype. Students can apply what they learned in the fundamentals class and develop a scalable and repeatable business model around their designed product concept.

This course will revolve heavily around the creation of a students own “passion product”. Utilizing the skills learned during lecture, students will create a product that solves a problem they identify. A business model and physical prototype will then be made. The year will culminate with a final presentation.
