Welcome to a new school year!
I am going into my 14th year as a teacher, with all my years at Lloyd Road School. I graduated from Rutgers University in 2004 with a degree in Psychology and then received my Masters Degree from Monmouth University in 2006 in Elementary Education.
I have been married for 10 years to my husband Tim. We have 4 children and a dog Gilbert. Brendan is 8 and entering 3rd grade. Gavin is 6 and starting 1st grade. Collin is 5 and will be starting Kindergarten, and Sienna is almost 2! Gilbert is a 14 year old yellow lab who really enjoys his sleep.
My favorite part about teaching is getting to know my students. I love watching them grow over the year they are in my class, and always hope to stay in touch as they get older. I always say "Once I've been your teacher for a year, I will always be your teacher".
When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my kids. We are usually busy with their sports since the boys play baseball, soccer, and basketball. I also love family vacations. We go to Disney every 2 years and love getting to experience all the fun.
