GEOTOP - High school research projects

We take part in the National Earth Sciences Program directed by the Earth and Environmental Sciences Group at the Weizmann Institute, advising high school students in independent research projects named GEOTOP

Our main aim is to give the students research tools to study their surrounding environment and its interrelationships with the other components of the natural system and society.

The current projects are focused in the study of heavy metals pollution in wetlands along the Israeli coast, and the students present their results as part of their matriculation examination.

Visiting the elementary school

We also see our role as educators of the next generation.
