We are always seeking motivated, curious and energetic MSc and PhD students to join our team. If you are interested please contact Daniel by email.

We are currently actively seeking two postdocs (one based in Israel and one in the US) for a project on metabolic interactions and mortality in phytoplankton

Micro-algae in the oceans perform half of the photosynthesis on Earth:

What causes them to grow or die in the oceans?

How do microbe-microbe interactions reduce death?

How can genome-scale metabolic models help us understand these processes?

We are seeking  two motivated, curious, hard-working and creative postdocs to join an international, interdisciplinary team aiming to explore how interactions among globally abundant marine microbes modify metabolic fluxes within and between the organisms.

Students from biology, environmental sciences, chemistry, engineering, biophysics, computer sciences or related disciplines are all welcome to apply. Experience with plant, algae or bacterial culturing, metabolism and flux modeling are an advantage.
