Adopt-a-Grave

The MHS Adopt-a-Grave Program was started in 2024 and put into action in 2025. We hope to restore our community's historic cemeteries for research, revival and learning opportunities.

Our goals:
Get all of the graves adopted/cleaned/researched!

Make a timeline of those resting in the Milton Hicksite Cemetery

Put our graves on Find-a-Grave to help those looking for loved ones or for those doing genealogical research

Compile researched information of those in the cemetery

Host a Haunted History Cemetery Tour celebrating the historic citizens of our town!
