Polls will be open early and on Election Day: Tuesday, November 4th!
The bond referendum question will appear on the General Election ballot.
If you are turned away at your polling place for any reason, ask for a provisional ballot. This preserves your right to vote and means your ballot will be considered after officials confirm your eligibility.
EARLY, IN-PERSON VOTING
Monmouth County will use 10 in-person Early Voting Poll Locations. They will be open Saturday, October 25th through Sunday, November 2nd. Hours on Monday through Saturday will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and on Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Voters can use any of these locations during the Early Voting period.
IN-PERSON VOTING ON ELECTION DAY
A registered voter must use the poll location to which they are assigned. That can be found on the sample ballot sent about a week before the vote, or use the State of New Jersey's poll locator tool. On Tuesday, November 4th, polls will be open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monmouth County's website has details about General Election Poll Locations.
Some voters have requested that a Vote By Mail ballot be sent to them automatically for all elections. Visit the county website for more information about voting by mail. If you have questions or require assistance, contact the Election Office at (732) 431-7790 or at ClerkOfElections@co.monmouth.nj.us.
To request a Vote By Mail ballot, download an English or Spanish application. The county must receive that application by October 28th to mail you a ballot, or by 3 p.m. on November 3rd to receive your ballot in person.
When you receive your Vote By Mail ballot, fill it out and either:
Mail it postmarked by November 4th.
Deliver it in person to the County Clerk’s Office (300 Halls Mill Road, Freehold) by 8 p.m. November 4th.
Drop it in a designated ballot drop box by 8 p.m. November 4th.
Mail-in ballots cannot be submitted at polling places.
