High School Information

All Marlboro Memorial Students are slated to attend Marlboro High School unless they apply and are accepted to another high school. Students do not have to apply to Marlboro High School, however they have a variety of Public Specialized High School Programs that they can apply to in Monmouth County.

In 7th grade

Mrs. Dorn gives a presentation to the entire 7th grade with basic information on their high school options. At the end of this school year, we will review their options in more detail.  The purpose of this presentation is for students to understand the importance of their 7th-8th year grades and to start researching their options. 

What can you do to prepare?

• Start researching the different programs offered

• Read the FAQ pages for each district 

• Get involved to further develop your interests!

Both high school districts will be visiting MMMS in May to give presentations to our 7th grade about the specific programs they offer. 

In 8th grade

Mrs. Dorn will re-visit classes in the beginning of the school year to discuss the application process and will assist with collecting necessary information for applications. 

Make sure to check out the open house/information sessions and deadlines for each school district.
