Over the course of the first marking period, we'll be focusing on reading, comprehending, and analyzing short stories. Some of the stories we'll enjoy are "The Gift of the Magi," "The Necklace," and "The Tell-Tale Heart."
The second marking period will be dedicated to reading The Pearl by John Steinbeck.
