Administrative Council (Servant Leaders): meet every other month
Provide for planning and implementing a program of nurture, outreach, witness, and resources in the local church; envision, plan, implement, and annually evaluate the mission and ministry of the church
Board of Trustees: meet every other month
Hold title to and manage the property belonging to the church, such as, church building and ground, equipment, and parsonage; provide for the security of its funds, keep an accurate record of its proceedings; review property, liability, and crime insurance coverage on church-owned property, buildings, and equipment. Simply saying, support the ministry of the Christ’s church through the faithful stewardship taking good care of the church buildings, lands and equipment.
Finance Team: meet every other month
Develop and implement plans that will raise sufficient financial resources to meet the budget adopted by the church council. In other words, support the ministry of the Christ’s church through helping the congregation to understand the biblical meaning of financial stewardship and to grow with the church in giving.
Staff Parish Relationship: meet quarterly
Encourage, strengthen, nurture, support and respect the pastor(s) and their family(s); Promote unity in the church; Confer with and counsel the pastor(s) on the matters pertaining to the effectiveness of ministry, relationships with the congregation, conditions that may impede the effectiveness of ministry, and to interpret the nature and function of the ministry. In other words, keep the heartbeat of the church stead and stable, neither too fast nor too slow.
Lay Leadership Development Team: meet seasonally
Identify, develop, deploy, evaluate, and monitor Christian spiritual leadership for the local congregation; Provide a means of identifying the spiritual gifts and abilities of the membership. In other words, help each member to actualize their full potential for God’s kingdom eternal.
