These are standard base costs. If you would like to come to other arrangements, please let me know through the contact page. Proofreading is something I do for fun and enjoyment. I love being able to help take part in turning a manuscript into a finished product for the public to read and enjoy.
Beta Read - quick reading of finished manuscript after edits have been made.
$1 per thousand words. If many grammatical issues are noted, and an upgrade to full proofreading is desired, a second read through can be done at an additional $3 per thousand words.
Full proofread/Edit - grammar, plot consistencies, use of words, comments on sections that don't quite make sense, etc.
$3-$6+ per thousand words, depending on turnaround time and number of revisions needed. This includes a final read through once all edits have been made to ensure your work is ready for publication.
For help with an incomplete novel, such as help planning out plot, a read through of opening chapters, and/or continuing help as you write, contact for a quote depending on how much help is needed.
