What is Pop-Art?
Pop art is an art movement that started in Britain and the United States between 1950 and 1960. The movement included images from popular and mass culture, such as advertising, cinema, comic books and mundane cultural objects. It is also associated with the artists' use of mechanical means of reproduction techniques.
Andy Warhol was born in 1928 and died in 1987 in the USA.
He created the visual art movement known as pop art.
He mixed his artistic expression with celebrity culture, and advertising.

Pop Yourself! Choose or take a photo of yourself with a plain background (one colour and smooth texture). Then open this link in Google Chrome, upload your photo, create your Pop Art Picture based on Andy Warhol, download it and upload it to Google Classroom!
