Marist School’s oratorical speech program is a multi-week unit designed to synthesize students’ researching, outlining, writing, and oral skills into a three- to five-minute speech on a topic chosen by the Archdiocese of Atlanta. This is an opportunity to improve skills in research, intellectual organization, composition, and public speaking. The unit will be completed during term two with approximately 10 students participating in the Marist School Oratorical Speech Contest. One student will represent Marist School during the Archdiocesan semi-finals during the last week of April.
