Description:
With movement scripts, collision, detection, and scoring elements, create a "collection" type game. The main character of the game should move through a world or maze with obstacles with a goal to collect objects to increase the score. Be creative and work to include rich visual designs with shapes along with challenging goals. You can create a maze like world where the character has to search. Or, you can create a Mario Kart like experience where the character has to finish as fast as possible while collecting. Think about ways to change the speed of the character based on score. Experiment with jumping!
Requirements:
A. Create a paper design (or electronic such as OneNote) of the Game. Create a list characters, objects to collect, obstacles, and actions.
B. Implement your Game in Unity. Stay with elemental shapes and colors but focus on rich movement and interaction.
C. Test your game with other students outside of class. Have them play the game and gather feedback.
Deliverables:
Google Doc Design Document with screenshots of sketches and list or table of characters, objects, obstacles, and actions.
Youtube video with yourself explaining the game and another person playing the game with feedback.
