About MaRI

We want to solve sleep disorders gently.

Sleep apnea, which is strongly related to snoring, is a disease with poor subjective symptoms (SAS).

Because SAS could cause serious complications such as high blood pressure, its diagnosis andtreatment are required.

Currently, a highly functional and effective treatment device and method are established.

However, it is also true that it is not easy to continue treatment because the patients need to use a contact-type treatment device during sleep.

Therefore, we aim to develop a non-contact device for treating SAS. In addition, we will develop a simple screening device. 

Development of sleep apnea syndrome (SAS) diagnostic device 

We develop high-accuracy audio sensing technology and analysis algorithm.

The device will be able to detect SAS even in an early stage. The detection in early stages could save the medical resources. 

Development of sleep apnea syndrome (SAS) treatment device 

A non-contact SAS treatment device that uses our original low-frequency irradiation technology and does not physically burden the patient.

Hirofumi Taki, CEO, is specialized in digital signal processing technology. When he was a university faculty, he researched medical ultrasonic imaging techniques. Applying this cutting-edge digital signal processing technology, we will strongly promote innovation.

Solution development based on needs with design thinking

Hirofumi Taki, CEO, completed the Stanford University biodesign program that promotes medical device development based on design thinking, and now provides lectures as Japan Biodesign Faculty. We are practicing on-site needs search advocated in biodesign and reliable solution development.
