Ohio Senate Bill 29 (SB29) is a law focused on protecting student data privacy in schools. It requires districts to be clear and transparent about the digital tools, websites, and applications used in the classroom that collect or use student data. As part of this law, we are responsible for informing families about which tools are in use and how student information is being protected. This helps ensure that the educational technology we rely on meets privacy standards and gives parents peace of mind. By working together, we can support safe, effective, and responsible technology use in our schools.
