Enjoy working with your classmates and the medium of hand-painted mosaic tiles to create a piece to display at Mariemont Junior High School. Visit Brazee Glass Studio and learn about designing with colorful glass while creating a fused glass piece.

Prerequisites: Let's Use Logic + Whole World in Your Hands

Looking for an ESCAPE from the monotony of daily life? Do you love the adrenaline rush of racing against the clock? Can you think outside the box and use creativity and teamwork to help you accomplish something special? Then come BREAKOUT with us as we engage in a thrilling adventure of puzzles, quick thinking, and a whole lot of FUN at Breakout Cincinnati!

Feeding Your Soul

Prerequisites: BUJU 4 You! + Healthy Hacks + Balancing Act

Life can be draining, take the day to feed your soul! Start this session by calming your MIND with the practice of yoga. Nourish the BODY by exploring the art of creating the perfect smoothie. End the day with a giving SPIRIT by giving back to the world with some service time.

Food Science

Prerequisites: Cold Emulsion Science + Nailed It!

In this all day experience, you will visit a school of higher education that has an onsite kitchen. You will get a tour of the school and an experience in the world of food science. Be prepared to be busy all day and use your creativity and science knowledge to create memories and culinary delights.

Intro to Sports Fitness

Play, exercise and have fun through the ages playing sports. Weather not cooperating? Head to your nearest bowling alley. Nice weather? Hit the links. Bowling and golf can bring a lifetime of enjoyment. Students will learn about small businesses and how these Lifetime Activities can prepare them for success beyond Junior High School.

Students will engage in the power of visual storytelling, participating in a theatrical performance of Greek mythology. We will collaborate with experts from Playhouse in the Park.

My Money Matters

Prerequisites: Personal Finance

You have learned some of the basics of a healthy personal finance portfolio. Now is the time to put the concept into a simulated practice. You will create an accurate account of what to expect post-high school and college. This will be your personal outline to your financial independence.

Outdoor Education & More

Prerequisites: Creative Camping Cuisine

Get ready to take your outdoor experience to the next level. We will be starting the morning by putting your campfire cuisine expertise to work. Morning Hashbrown challenge anyone? We will be using our pie irons and fire-building skills to cook up some fantastic hash browns with all the fixings! Afterwards, we will be venturing to ClimbTime in Oakley for a little elevated outdoor challenge by putting your climbing skills to work!

Hey future writers! Are you sick of the boring 5-paragraph essays you're forced into during LA class? Are you ready to get more of your creative juices flowing? Then THIS is the session for you. In this session, students will work on the FUN parts of writing--narrative writing, creating characters, developing descriptions, sharing ideas, and learning from others who are passionate about creative writing. Writers who join this session with work alongside the professional leaders of the Ohio Writing Project at Miami University. Come join us for a day of learning from and with a room full of writers!
