Description: Students will use their imagination and creativity to design the city of their dreams! Using a KFC bucket as a base, they will create a city with fun pop up features, adding more details each week.

Description: Over the course of 4 weeks, students will experience the different stages of the batiking process. Using nature as inspiration, they will use a fabric square, gel glue and acrylic paints to create a beautiful wall hanging.

Description: The students enjoy themselves and engage socially during our sessions. They learn to focus and pick up skills quickly through group learning, which is especially beneficial for beginners new to the game. We practice the principles and fundamentals that contribute to a good chess game—skills that will last a lifetime. Additionally, we explore the chess world and participate in fun activities and matches.

QSA creates a way for kids to have fun while exercising and becoming more physically fit. The class has a strong focus on correct running form and mechanics, because most kids are never taught how to run properly. QSA will teach the correct way to control the body during exercise and sports to help to prevent injuries.
Intro to Improv

Description: Learning improvisation is an excellent way to communicate better with your friends, family, and teachers. Plus, it is hilarious and a great way to blow off steam. Everything in improv is all made up! You will learn how to take any situation and make it fun AND funny, in a safe space where you will say whatever comes to mind. We stress kindness and working together with others in the class. In a way, improv is an art form that is like a team sport. There are NO wrong answers in improv! Come laugh with us on Monday afternoon – how cool is that?

Description: Math Fact Fun is an enrichment opportunity for 3rd-4th graders who want to boost their understanding of rudimentary math facts and skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). The class is led by Eli Ching, a senior at Mariemont High School, and is overseen by Mr. Prater. Math Fact Fun will offer different types of games and activities to practice and reinforce students’ knowledge of math facts. The program combines friendly competition with math lessons to help students gain speed and confidence.
