Welcome To My Portfolio

My name is Harwood Austin Bannister IV. I prefer to go by my middle name, Austin. I am currently majoring in Computer Science at Scottsdale Community College and expect to complete a degree in this field within the next 1-2 years. My ambition at the moment is to pursue specialization in Robotics Engineering after finishing my degree at SCC.

This dedicated portfolio serves to display my completed projects, whether prompted by coursework or otherwise. In doing so I aim to communicate my general design philosophy and methodology. My approach to any project is usually systematic, detailed and thorough; but also inspired and creative. It is my hope that those qualities are conveyed through this site.

The Capstone Projects page is where you will find my work. I will do my best to include detailed instructions for each project on how to best view them.

On the Resume page you will find the current version of my resume. I will update this as my resume changes over time, so feel free to check back once in a while if you're interested in my progress.

A few extra details:

• The logo in the top left corner of this page is Pacific Northwest Indian style art. It has significance to me personally as I am 1/4 Makah Indian. I used Gimp to edit the colors in order to be more compatible with this page.
• I am an accomplished (if currently out of practice) martial artist and live by the tenets of my art. Those being Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, and Indomitable Spirit.
• As an experienced internet user I am very aware of color brightness and the effect it has on the eyes. For web design I prefer to a more "Dark Mode" style, and believe darker color design will become more prominent in the future.
