09/08/2025 - U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced that ICE San Francisco arrested George Delos Santos, who is an immigrant from the Philippines, on August 27, 2025.
He was convicted of first-degree child sexual abuse in the CNMI and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
U.S. ICE made the announcement across its social media pages yesterday. They wrote, “Meet George Delos Santos: Filipino child sex predator.”
They added, “…he’ll stay in our custody pending removal proceedings.”
Marianas Press learned Delos Santos is being held in custody at the Saipan prison.
According to a CNMI Supreme Court order affirming his conviction and sentence on July 10, 2020, “Delos Santos, aged 55, performed cunnilingus on a 6-year-old victim and pleaded guilty to sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree.”
The CNMI Supreme Court said Delos Santos is undocumented and may be subject to removal upon release. In the 2020 order, the CNMI Supreme Court said Delos Santos was sentenced to thirty years of imprisonment with five years suspended. In 2020, they said he was eligible for parole after serving eight years and was given ten years of supervised probation.
