CNMI Republicans in D.C. for Trump Inauguration

01/20/25 - CNMI Republicans are in Washington, D.C. ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Marianas Press learned that CNMI Governor Arnold Palacios, who recently rejoined the Republican Party after running as an independent, will attend the ceremony in person. It is scheduled for early Tuesday morning, Chamorro Standard Time. CNMI Delegate Kimberlyn King-Hinds also confirmed she will be attending.

Irene Holl and Alice Igitol have also been in Washington, D.C., representing the local party at the Republican National Committee’s winter meeting.

They both attended Trump’s “Victory Rally” at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., before the big day.

Holl, who is the CNMI national committeewoman, told Marianas Press, “It’s a great feeling to be able to join the Victory Rally. I was at the RNC Convention. Today’s rally has a different vibe. Very positive.”
