128 support CCA's Cake Wars

10/20/2025 - 128 people came out in full force on Sunday to support the Commonwealth Cancer Association’s “Cake Wars: Sweet OR Savory" — a cake competition part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The overall winners of the competition are:

#1: Terry Ann Pangelinan with ‘Red Velvet Hope’

#2: Terry Ann Pangelinan with ‘U-be Strong’ 

#3: Emelita Dalusong With ‘Yema Cake’  

Subcategory winners were also selected based on particular themes:

-Warriors Cake: Voyage to Victory by Donovan Castro 

-Pinterest Worthy: Yema Cake by Emelita Dalusong

-Skinny Queen: EMC (Eat More Carrots) by Ayumi Litulumar 

-Savor the Flavor: Pink Ribbon by Amy Lynn Babauta

Organizers said the event celebrates creativity, community spirit, and hope; while supporting survivors and families in the CNMI.
