This will be our final newsletter of 2024. We would like to thank you all for your continued support this term. We have celebrated Christmas in style this year. I would like to say a huge well done to the children in EYFS and KS1 who performed brilliantly in their nativities and KS2 who sang beautifully at their carol concert. Thank you to the kitchen team for our delicious Christmas dinner on Wednesday and to the PTA for this year's Christmas Fair.
Today, we ended the week with a pyjama day as part of the School Council's fundraising events for Demelza. Thank you all so much for supporting us with this event.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful time with your family and friends over the break. We look forward to welcoming you all back on Tuesday 7th January.

The exciting inquiries that our children explore every day here at Marden, provide them with many opportunities to learn about a wide range of careers globally, as well as within their local community. We are always looking for ways to enrich these experiences, and provide them with inspiration for their futures.
We would like to invite you to become a part of this. If you have a passion, hobby, specialism or career, and you are able to volunteer some time to come into school and share this with our children, then we gratefully ask you to fill out this form and provide us with some more information, so that we can get in touch.
Please note: we are extremely grateful to everyone that volunteers their time to come into school, and we appreciate that people are very busy. Therefore, if you are not able to come into school but would like to offer something else, then please feel free to still get in touch.

Jo Douglas is a parent at the school and one of our governors. She is training to run the London marathon for Bliss, the baby charity. To support her fundraising efforts, Jo is hosting a children’s Christmas party this Sunday 22nd December, 2-4pm
Father Christmas will be in attendance and will have a small gift for the children. There will be also be party games hosted by one of his elves (a West End trained party entertainer*) and we’ll even provide some Prosecco and mince pies for the grown ups.
