This week we delivered the Harvest donations to the Vestry Hall. The church has asked us to pass on their thanks for the donations. As a school, we were truly amazed to see such generosity from our school community. These donations really will make a huge difference to local families.
I have enjoyed the opportunity to see more fantastic learning this week with so many children keen to show me their work. On Monday, myself and Mrs Rawling spent the morning going around the classes looking at the children's writing. We were so pleased to see all of their fantastic work and to speak to the children who were excited to share what they have been learning.
We look forward to seeing you all next Wednesday and Thursday for our Parents' Evenings. We hope this will be a good opportunity for you to speak to your child's teacher and to look at some of their work. If you have had any problems in signing up for a meeting please contact the office who will be more than happy to help you with this.
A reminder that next Friday we have our Halloween disco. If you have not already bought a ticket but would like to, you can purchase them on MCAS.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

It has been brought to our attention that there is an online horror game which some children are talking about in school. It is called Poppy Playtime and is based on a toy which chases you around a toy factory. There is not an official rating for this game however it is not age-appropriate or suitable for young children.
We have spoken to children across the school about this game not being safe for them to play. Please could we ask you to reiterate these messages at home.
For more information about this game and how to support your child with online safety please follow this link.

Last weekend, Emily and Lucy took part in an Irish Dancing competition. They both did really well and had lots of fun.
Whether it’s during a major event like bonfire night or simply while using a heater on a chilly day, fire safety is a vitally important topic on which to educate children and young people. One mistake with fireworks, electronics or open flames can have catastrophic consequences: damage to property, serious injury or even worse.
As parents and educators, it's vital that we teach the children in our care how to protect themselves around fire and flammable materials in a mature and responsible manner. This free guide offers expert advice on how to educate children and young people on fire safety, detailing what precautions can be taken to keep them as safe as possible when exposed to fire-related dangers.
