It's been a great first week back following the half term. The children started the week by reflecting on their learning from the last module. Some photos and examples of their reflections have been put together to form class reflection sites. We hope you will enjoy looking at these.
Starting next week, we have 6 weeks before the Christmas break and we need to fit lots into these weeks - including another inquiry, performances, phonics events and not to mention seasonal celebrations. We have most things in the diary already, so please do keep an eye on the key dates section of the newsletter.
Thank you to all of the parents who came to our open afternoon on Wednesday. We hope you enjoyed the opportunity to have another look at the children's work.
Thank you to everyone who came to see our Poppy Walk today. We hope you enjoyed looking at the children's thoughtful work. Thank you also for your generous donations this week to the Poppy Appeal, it is very much appreciated. On Monday we will continue our reflections with an Assembly from Reverend Nicky and two minutes silence at 11am.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

William plays for the Marden U12's and had a fantastic hockey tournament last weekend, scoring the only goal for the hockey team.
The whole team worked really well together, which is a great sign for the Kent Hockey Championship Tournament taking place in March 2025.
Over the years, Fortnite has become a household name in the gaming community. It was one of the first titles in the ‘battle royale’ subgenre, where players are thrown into a chaotic free-for-all on a sprawling map and fight until only one remains. Its cartoonish presentation and satisfying gameplay loop make it a potentially attractive choice for young players.
However, it’s important to remember that online safety risks are always present – especially in multiplayer games – and Fortnite is no exception. This free guide, put together with expert input, tells you all you need to know about the safety concerns of this popular title and offers advice on how to protect children and young people as they enjoy the game.
