We have had a lovely first week back and have enjoyed the sunny weather. It has been wonderful to be able to get out onto the field for lunch times and to be able to use the outdoor spaces for some of our learning experiences.
All of the children started the week by reflecting on their learning from last term. They have shared this with you on the reflection sites that are part of this week's newsletter. I hope you will enjoy seeing pictures of the children's work and their thoughts about it.
This week, Oak and Juniper class have had lots of fun planting a selection of flowers and food in their EYFS garden. They worked really well as a team to ensure they planted them correctly and have been taking great care of them to ensure they continue to grow. Willow and Spruce class have also been making the use of outdoor spaces this week as they have started their inquiry which will include work on plants.
On Tuesday next week we will be doing Sports Day. EYFS/KS1 will be in the morning at 9.00 - 11.15am and KS2 will be at 1.05 - 2.45pm. We hope lots of you will be able to attend and to join us in cheering the children on. They have all been practising this week and are very excited for Tuesday.
Over the next few weeks we have got lots of exciting trips and events for the children. Please remember to check the key dates below for more information on these.
I hope you have a lovely weekend.

On the internet or on social media, it’s likely that you’ve come across the occasional pop-up – promising a great deal on some product or service, declaring that you’ve won some kind of prize, or making any other number of tempting claims. This marketing tactic has been around for almost 30 years and shows no signs of disappearing any time soon.
Unfortunately, pop-up advertising carries with it various online safety risks, as we can never be certain where those links will take us or how legitimate their creators are. These ads can be especially risky for children and young people, who may not yet be able to look at such marketing with a critical eye. However, our free online safety guide will educate you on pop-ups, their associated risks, and how to safeguard yourself and young people from this phenomenon.
