Principal's Message

It's the end of Module 5 and what feels like an exceptionally busy term. We've had plenty of school trips and visitors, invited parents in to our events and also had an Ofsted inspection! We anticipate that the report will be released early next term and we are very much looking forward to sharing it with you.

This week has been filled with Easter events; from the Easter bonnet parade to the egg-cellent egg-based scenes from KS2, culminating in Easter egg hunts today. Thank you also to Rev. Nicky for leading our Easter services at the church this week.

Next module, we will continue in our drive to improve outcomes for all learners at Marden. Have a wonderful Easter break, stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all back in school on Tuesday 18th April.

Key Stage 2 Egg-stravaganza

We received some egg-cellent entries to our Key Stage 2 Easter egg scenes. It was clear that a lot of thought and enthusiasm had gone into the creations - they really were cracking!

It was extremely hard selecting winners, our heads were scrambled trying to pick 4 entries for prizes, however the winners were:

Upper Key Stage 2:

Winner: Leah - 5 Aspen - for her Royal Family balcony scene.

Runner-up: Jenson - 6 Monkey Puzzle - for his Big Ben model and scene.

Lower Key Stage 2:

Winner: Percy P - 4 Chestnut - for his London Eye scene.

Runner-up: William S - 3/4 Cedar - for his eggsercising scene.
