Principal's Message
This week, the Year 6 children successfully completed their Bikeability training. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Kent Safer Active Journeys team for facilitating this essential training and for their commitment to ensuring our children are equipped with the skills necessary to navigate the roads safely.
On Wednesday, Year 4 visited Marden Library, where they had the delightful opportunity to explore the extensive range of texts available. We would like to thank Marden Library for providing this enriching experience for our children.
Looking ahead, please be reminded that our parent consultations are scheduled for next Tuesday and Wednesday. If you have not yet arranged to meet with your child’s class teacher, we kindly ask that you do so via the MCAS app. Should you require any assistance with this process, please do not hesitate to contact the office, where our staff will be more than happy to assist you.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Office Messages
Violent clips, online ‘wars’, and shock-value challenges can spread rapidly across social media feeds – often appearing in front of young people who weren’t actively looking for them. This guide explains how algorithms, messaging groups and viral trends can expose children to real-world violence online, sometimes normalising harmful behaviour or encouraging risky offline actions.
It also highlights the emotional, social and legal risks linked to engaging with violent content. From anxiety and community fear to the dangers of sharing or promoting violent posts, the guide offers practical advice for parents and educators on discussing online safety, understanding the law, and helping young people respond positively and responsibly.
