Principal's Message
It's been a great first week back following the half term. The children started the week by reflecting on their learning from the last module. Some photos and examples of their reflections have been put together to form class reflection sites. We hope you will enjoy looking at these.
Starting next week, we have 6 weeks before the Christmas break and we need to fit lots into these weeks - including another inquiry, performances, phonics events and not to mention seasonal celebrations. We have most things in the diary already, so please do keep an eye on the key dates section of the newsletter.
Thank you to everyone who came to see our Poppy Walk today. We hope you enjoyed looking at the children's thoughtful work. On Monday we will continue our reflections with an Assembly from Reverend Nicky and on Tuesday we will take part in two minutes silence at 11am.
If you are attending and traveling to the school by car, please can we remind you to ensure you park in a safe and sensible place. If you park in the Memorial Hall car park please can we remind you that you should only be parking in official marked bays to ensure that everyone is able to enter and leave the car park safely. When parking on the road, please can we ask that you do not park on the zig zag lines. We would appreciate your support in ensuring this happens.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Bullying continues to affect far too many children, both in and out of school – but adults can play a crucial role in helping young people speak up and support one another. This week’s guide is packed with practical strategies to foster confidence, kindness, and connection in the face of unkind behaviour.
From encouraging inclusivity to spotting signs of distress, the guide highlights how small, everyday actions by young people and the adults around them can make a big difference. With tips on nurturing empathy, teaching allyship and validating children’s experiences, it’s a timely reminder that empowering young voices is key to positive change.
