Cost: $180 per person (+ ammunition)
Length: ~2–3 hours (class + live fire)
Age: 18+
Prerequisite: Basic Handgun Course — students must be proficient with Basic Handgun skills.
Overview:
This hands-on Intermediate Handgun Course builds on basic skills and focuses on tactical handgun handling, weapons positions, and live-fire manipulation drills to improve speed, accuracy, and confidence. Led by experienced instructors (law enforcement, military, and defensive-shooting backgrounds), the class blends classroom instruction and live-fire coaching.
What this class covers:
Weapons positions (High Compressed Ready, Workspace, Full Extension)
Firearms manipulation: loading, unloading, clearing stoppages, and speed reloads
Tactical handling and safe range work with live-fire practice
Requirements & gear:
Bring your carry firearm in a case, 2–3 magazines, and a magazine-holding device (mag pouch or similar). Rentals are not allowed.
Bring/purchase 100+ rounds of brass-cased ammunition (available in shop).
Must be proficient with Basic Handgun skills; instructors may refuse live-fire participation if proficiency is not shown.
Arrive early — class begins on time. Late arrivals may be deferred.
