Prerequisite: Intermediate Handgun Course (new or old curriculum). If you completed the old Intermediate Pistol Course, we strongly recommend also taking the Defensive Skills Clinic.

Overview:
Build safe, practical defensive skills and learn to employ your handgun from the holster. This 2–4 hour clinic blends classroom instruction and live-fire training to help you become a SAFE, SKILLED, AND CONFIDENT defensive shooter. Successful completion certifies shooters to perform holster draws at the Marc-On Range.

What this class covers:

• Combative mindset and situational awareness

• Review of safety and fundamentals

• Tactical handling and working the gun under stress

• Proper draw stroke, presentation, and shot placement from holster

• Follow actions and post-engagement sequence

Requirements & gear:

• Bring your carry firearm with optic/setup as usual, 2–3 magazines, and a magazine-holding device (mag pouch, belt, etc.). Rentals are not allowed.

• Bring/purchase 100+ rounds of brass-cased ammunition (available in-shop). NO steel-core (green tip).

• You must be proficient with skills taught in Basic and Intermediate Handgun. The instructor may refuse live-fire participation if basic/intermediate skills are not demonstrated.

• Classes start on time—late arrivals may be deferred.

• Ammunition and pistol rental are NOT included in the clinic price.

• This clinic is for ages 21 and up.
