Basic Handgun Course

Cost: $120 per person (+ ammo)
Length: ~4 hours (class + live fire)
Ages: 12+ (minors must be accompanied by a guardian)
What’s included: ear & eye protection, target, opportunity to shoot 50 rounds on the range with a qualified instructor. (Ammunition not included.)

Overview:
An introduction to safe gun handling, marksmanship fundamentals, and firearms manipulation for beginners and those needing a refresher. Students will learn loading/unloading, clearing stoppages, safe storage, and basic maintenance. You must bring your handgun and magazines in a case — or rent one from us (arrive early to complete rental paperwork). After instruction, students will qualify on the range with 50 rounds.

Key requirements:

• Bring your firearm and magazines (in a case) OR rent one from the shop.

• Bring/purchase 50 rounds brass-cased ammunition (available in-store).

• Arrive early if you need to rent to complete paperwork.

• The course starts on time — late arrivals may be deferred.
