• Do not procrastinate! Thoughtful essays and cover letters take time to develop.

• Make it personal & focus on the details.  

• Proofread your work and fix grammatical errors. 

• Be aware of deadline dates! 

• Scholarships are divided into categories - pay attention to eligibility criteria.

• MHS general application forms must include a cover letter & resume! Some scholarships require a copy of your transcript and/or recommendation letters. 

• If a scholarship requires its own application form, there will be a .pdf file available to download OR you will be directed to that organization's website on how to apply.
