Glover School students have access to library resources anytime from anywhere. These resources can be accessed via the Glover School Library website on the eBooks page and the Databases page.
With Sora students can access a large collection of free eBooks, audiobooks and magazines. The collection, curated by the Massachusetts Library System, is accessible 24/7. It is convenient for students to check out titles at home, on weekends or during school breaks with no worry about misplacing a book – these digital titles automatically return at the end of the lending period. Students can simply log in using school credentials and instantly access thousands of eBooks, audiobooks and magazines on virtually any device.
Online information resources, such as Britannica and Pebble Go, provide students with trusted learning content. Students can discover new facts about animals, people, plants, science and geography. These resources include audio enabled articles, videos, puzzles and games.
The Marblehead elementary summer reading list is the collaborative effort of Marblehead Elementary School Librarians. This list is designed to encourage students to read for pleasure and enjoyment. Remember that reading aloud to your child is a great way to enjoy the many wonderful books that are available. To help you and your child choose appropriate books, we have included recommendations that cover a wide range of reading levels and genres. All of the books are available at Abbot Library. We encourage students in grades K-3 to read daily throughout the summer. We encourage you to visit your public library this summer and participate in their summer reading program.
HAVE A GREAT SUMMER! KEEP READING!
