What should you use this for?

ANYTHING!: (touching base, assignments, grading, progress, setting up meetings) This can really be the fastest way to get in touch with us. Please allow a bit of time to go by before you feel that we are ignoring you! We work as a team and prefer to touch base with each other before we respond to emails. We also know that email can sometimes seem impersonal, so let us know if you would like to set up a phone conversation or meeting. We’d be happy to!

What should you use this for?

A way to make personal contact before or after school. (Be sure to leave a message if we don’t pick up. Our phones go directly to voicemail during the day, and/or we may be out of the room. You may want to ask the front office to leave a message for us. Please know office messages are received at various times depending on our availability.)

Homework Assignment Notebook/Notes:

This will come back and forth between school and home with your student every day.

What should you use this for?

Handwritten notes in the assignment notebook from the teacher are normally for reminding purposes for the student. A parent may write a quick note to the teacher in the book or on a separate paper. Please remind the student to alert the teacher to this.

Online Classrooms:

Students have received information in class about how to log into Google Classroom. Students can also access our Google Classrooms via CLEVER.

(Google Classroom will be available for every student and these classrooms give students the ability to share files with the teacher, send emails, short private messages, announcements and updates!)

What should you use this for?

We prefer for this method to be student communication only for questions about online assignments. However, if no other way was working or possible, a parent could email us through this account via the student's “MAIL” app/option.
