We were learning how to care for birds and learned that the upcoming snow storm would affect some of the spring birds so kids researched what these birds ate and we created bird food that students took home on the upcoming snow day.

Last Day of School fun. Kids decorate their own hats and had a blast running through color with their 4th grade buddies.

Many times we will take our learning outside the four walls of our classroom.

Learning in the classroom is collaborative, personalized, and made visual in our room. Our walls will be filled with our learning. Kids work in groups, 1:1, guided support with teachers, in small groups, and independently to practice becoming effective learners.
