Intro students started the year learning drafting skills. Orthographic and isometric skills were introduced. Drawing exercises allowed students to practice these skills. A creative Celtic Knot drawing finished this unit, as displayed here.

Remote students explored architecture and spacial design. Here are some examples of their work.

Intro students worked on two major projects in the shop. First, each student built a peg rack. Next, they followed plans and built a 12"x24"x12" box. Creative designs were incorporated into the top of the box. Some students used the CNC machine during this process.

Wood Design students completed projects using the CNC machine. This process requires engineering processing, problem solving, and creativity.

Honors Wood Design focused on completing three community projects: Story Walk for the Readfield Elementary School, Benches for the Readfield Kid's Athletic Trail, and a recording booth for Mr. Gilbert and the music room.
