The App is provided to students of partner colleges/institutions that use OMAP Services Pvt. Ltd. products.By installing and using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.2. Data we collect2.1 Information you or your college provideDepending on your institution’s configuration, the App may process:
Student profile data
Name, student ID / admission number
Mobile number, email address
Course, year, section
Hostel/room information (if hostel is managed in the system)
Requests / forms
Leave, out‑pass / gate‑pass, sick leave requests and status
Complaints / service requests and related comments or notes
Uploaded content
Photos/documents you choose to upload along with requests (e.g. medical note)
Much of this data is synced from your institution’s systems; it is not entered manually into our systems by us.2.2 Automatically collected information

2.3 Notifications identifiers
Push notification token
A unique token generated for your device so we can send you push notifications (via Firebase Cloud Messaging).
We do not collect payment data and we do not collect behavioral analytics for advertising or marketing.3. How we use your dataWe use the data solely to enable your college to manage student services and communication, including:
Core functionality
Display your attendance, notices, basic student profile and other student‑facing features configured by your institution.
Allow you to submit and track requests (leave, out‑pass, complaints, etc.).
Notifications
Send push notifications about:
Request approvals/rejections
Important notices and alerts from your institution
Emergency or safety messages where configured
Maintenance and security
Monitor technical performance and fix errors
Protect against misuse and unauthorized access
We do not:
Sell your data to third parties.
Use your data for ad targeting.
4. Firebase and third‑party servicesWe use Firebase for:
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) – to send push notifications to your device.
Basic crash/error logging where applicable.
We do not enable or use Firebase Analytics for marketing or user profiling in this app.Other than Firebase infrastructure and standard cloud hosting providers, we do not use separate third‑party analytics or payment gateways in the student app.5. Legal basis and role
Your college/institution is the primary controller of your student records.
OMAP Services Pvt. Ltd. acts as a service provider/processor, operating the App and backend systems on behalf of your institution.
Processing is primarily based on:
Legitimate interests of your institution in managing students, hostel and campus operations.
Performance of your academic/administrative relationship with the institution.
Compliance with legal/record‑keeping obligations where applicable.
6. Data sharingWe may share your data only with:
Your institution’s authorized staff
Such as administrators, wardens, rectors, campus managers, faculty and other staff who need access for academic or administrative reasons.
Service providers
Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
Firebase (Google) for push notifications and crash reporting
All such providers are contractually required to use the data only for providing services to OMAP and your institution, and to keep it secure.We may also share data where required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of students, staff or the institution.7. Data retention
We store data only for as long as needed:
To provide the App and related services to your institution.
To comply with legal or institutional record‑keeping requirements.
When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized in coordination with your institution’s retention policies.
8. SecurityWe take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
Encrypted connections (HTTPS) between App and servers.
Access control and role‑based permissions for staff accounts.
Regular updates and monitoring for security issues.
No system is completely secure, but we work to minimize risks of unauthorized access, loss or misuse.9. Your choices and rightsAlthough your institution controls most student data, you can typically:
Review and update some of your profile details (if allowed by the institution).
Control device permissions:
Push notifications
Camera and storage (for uploads)
Request corrections or deletions via your institution, where legally possible.

Children and minorsThe App is intended for students enrolled with partner institutions, including minors if permitted by those institutions’ policies. Where data is transferred outside your region, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection, consistent with applicable data protection laws.12. Changes to this policyWe may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:
