Three Merrill players earned All Conference honors this season. Bailey Turenne was a unanimous 1st Team choice by the coaches. Bailey had one of the best seasons in school history as he set the school record for points per game 22.8 (overall) and 23.1 ppg in conference play, he also averaged over 12 rebounds per game and 5 assists per game as well. Bailey was a walking double double this year for Coach Pieper. Bailey led the conference in rebounding and finished second in the Valley in scoring. Juniors Troy Mootz (12 ppg) and Bradyn Pieper (11 ppg) also were Honorable Mention choices by the coaches. Troy and Bradyn both averaged double figures this season and were reliable options for the Jays. Coach Pieper commented on the three players, "I am proud of all three of the guys for getting recognition this year, these are three of the hardest workers in the program, it's nice to see hard work pay off, all three of them put in a lot of time outside of our scheduled practices both in the weight room and in the gym on their own to become the best they can be, also all three are awesome role models off the court as well, three very deserving young men and I'm proud to be their coach".
