Medical Excuse Policy:
Medical Excuse Policy:
- Medical Excuse/ Parent excuse does NOT excuse you from class or participation to the best of your ability.
- All medical reasons excusing a student from physical education class must be accompanied by a doctor's note. The doctor's note should list the limitations of the student, specifically listing what the student can or cannot do. Every student will be required to do some activity to the best of their ability. Students will not receive a grade for units they did not participate in. No grade will be given other than a medical.
- Medical excuses from parents will serve the same as an absence from class and the student will not receive points for that day. These points will have to be made up in order to receive points for that day.
- If a student has an extended medical excuse which require NO participating in Physical Education class for more than ten days, the student will be required to make arrangements with the teacher to make up missed time prior to the end of the grading period. We want to work with the student as best we can so the student can be successful.
