Hello!

a bit about me:

I am very happy to be a part of the Merrill High School administrative team. Great colleagues, friendly students, and supportive families have made Merrill High School a great place for me to work since being hired in 2005. MHS has first class facilities and a staff capable of delivering a world class education to our students!

I completed my bachelors degree in 1996 from UW River Falls and taught high school social studies for twenty years. I started graduate studies in 2014 and finished a masters degree in school administration from Marian University. Moving from teaching to administration has been a very enjoyable transition, full of challenges and rewards.

I was born and raised in Pensaukee, WI, which lies about 20 miles north of Green Bay in the heart of Packerland. I lived on a farm and my first paying job was working with horses. I married my wife Jamie in 1997 and we now have four kids. I love traveling with my family and enjoy going west the best (especially Wyoming). My son Cody and I have done a number of backpacking trips in the Bighorn Mountains of north central Wyoming. My family is very active in our church and many school related activities. My oldest child is training to be a missionary, the second oldest is attending Colorado Christian University near Denver, the younger two are in high school.
